MT landowner kills wolf attacking his sheep

Images Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks reports a Missoula landowner shot and killed one of two wolves attacking his sheep this week on the Miller Creek drainage near the Lolo National Forest boundary. The attacked yearling lamb survived, but later had to be put down. The other wolf escaped unharmed. The Missoulian.

Alaska man attacked by rabid wolf

A hunter seated beside a moose camp bonfire with two companions along the Kuskokwim River near Kalskag, Alaska was attacked and bitten by a rabid wolf on Sept. 10. Roderick Phillip was bitten as he wrestled with the attacking animal, before his brother, Eric, shot and killed it with a 30.06 rifle.
