About Your Host Steve currently works as a consultant and is the host of Trail Boss and has written published articles on the outdoors, team building, self defense, how to be a real man & a gentleman, and on many defensive, law enforcement & security related subjects. Steve was the host of a weekly conservative talk radio show called Fast Track. On Trail Boss he presents frontier skills for modern times. Steve does commercials and voice over work as well for radio and television.
Steve’s exploits have been covered by every major news organization around the world. He has and continues to be a featured guest on many national television and radio programs like the History Channel, O’ Reilly Factor, Gerardo, CNN, FOX News, NBC, ABC, Steel on Steel, and CBS Evening News just to name a few as well as countless print such as FHM and radio media sources.
When he is not filming trail Steve provides consulting and training to corporations, government organizations and individuals on Security, Investigations, Strategic Planning, Rescue Operations, Out Door Survival, National Security Concerns, Executive protection, Self Defense, Counter Surveillance, Family Security, Team Building , and Threat Assessment. He trains actors and other celebrities in firearms handling, law enforcement and other techniques, such as interrogation and primitive survival skills. He has an eye for detail and realism checking equipment, making sure the talent performs their skills correctly and provides feedback to insure continuity and realism during the scene. Recently he has been consulting to reality and travel shows on treatments and segments.
He is a former law enforcement official, and US Marine assigned to 2nd ANGLICO. Steve Has been hailed a national hero and role modal to the children of the United States by members of congress. During his career he has received many letters of commendation from heads of state, the FBI, other law enforcement agencies, corporations and the general public for his participation in high profile cases and assignments. That include leading wilderness expeditions and working on the protection teams of high ranking government officials and celebrities both in the US and Abroad. Steve is still considered one of the best investigators and protection specialists in the country. Steve’s fighting style and philosophy has been mentioned in books like implosion at Los Alamos and the Martial Art of the Gun.
Steve loves children and members of the military which he considers to be big kids. His oldest son also served in the United States Marine Corps. He has been very active in supporting childrens hospitals and other organizations that benefit children, and our troops.
