550-pound bear found living under NJ home

16327707_BG1A cable TV technician was understandably a bit unnerved when he came face-to-face with a 550-pound black bear in the unfinished basement of a home in Hopatcong, New Jersey on Wednesday. Responding conservation officers shot the bruin with a tranquilizer, and it dashed from beneath the house and led them on a chase through the neighborhood, before it succumbed to the sedative.
