DNA confirms wolves killed Alaska teacher in 2010

271-C027p.Hi.7An Alaska Department of Fish and Game report issued Tuesday confirms at least two wolves chased down and killed special education teacher Candice Berner, 32, as she jogged on a road March 8, 2010 near the village of Chignik Lake. “This appears to have been an aggressive, predatory attack that was relatively short in duration,” the report concluded.
