FWS agents raid Gibson guitar plants in Tennessee
What a waste of tax payer money. I am sure Gibson had the wood room bobby trapped or the pieces of suspect wood ready to flush. One agent coming in to do an inspection would not have worked. It had to be a raid. Agents with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted raids yesterday at Gibson Guitar offices and factories in Nashville and Memphis, apparently in connection with an investigation into the company’s alleged use of illegally imported endangered ebony woods, a violation of the Lacey Act. Tennessean.
