This warden is not very bright D’oh!
I think he failed investigation 101. When the Mt. Pleasant law enforcement office for Texas Wildlife and Parks received a call about someone advertising baby deer for sale on the local radio station’s swap show, Titus County Game Warden Jerry Ash phoned the seller and posed as a potential buyer, hoping to initiate a sting operation. It turns out the seller was offering “baby gear.” Nice try, though, warden. Hat tip to Shannon Tompkins‘ Houston Chronicle blog.
