No contest plea in alleged assault with bowfishing rig

DownloadedFile An Oakland County, Mich. man appeared in court this week on charges he shot a bowfishing arrow at two anglers on White Lake during a confrontation last August. Anthony Miller, 49, told the DNR the anglers made threatening statements to his wife and denied firing his bow at the two. A felony assault charge was dropped in return for his plea of no contest to harassing an angler. Detroit Free Press.
