Maryland is first to approve deer birth-control product

DownloadedFile This is going to turn into a huge disaster both financially and I will assure you will adversely effect the health and well being of the deer population.  A federally sanctioned immuno-contraception product has been approved for use on wild deer in Maryland, though the director of the state Wildlife and Heritage Service cautioned it is no magic bullet for use in deer control and costs up to $1,000 to apply. The Humane Society of the United States praised Maryland for becoming the first state to OK the use of Gonacon for deer. Mike Sawyers in the Cumberland Times-News.
