Ammunition Failure

Request for national broadcast from the Gallatin Police Department in reference to ammunition failure and operator safety. 

TO: ALL RECEIVING TERMINALS
FROM: GALLATIN POLICE DEPT
SUBJECT: AMMUNITION FAILURE

OUR DEPARTMENT HAS EXPERIENCED AMMUNITION FAILURE.  THE
AMMO IN QUESTION IS HORNADAY 223 55GR TRAINING FMJ LOT#
3070091.  THE ROUNDS EXPLODED IN THE CHAMBER CAUSING
DAMAGE TO THE RIFLES.  THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE
OFFICERS. THE WEAPONS WERE FIRED AND THE MAGAZINES
EXPLODED AND FELL OUT OF THE WEAPONS.  BOTH EXTRACTORS
SHELL IS LODGED IN THE CHAMBERS. THE AR RIFLES WERE A
BUSHMASTER AND A ROCK RIVER. HORNADY HAS BEEN CONTACTED
AND ARE AWARE OF THE SITUATION.  IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED
