When a mature, 8-point buck came crashing through a window at Badger Ridge Middle School in Verona, Wis. Wednesday, a quick-thinking teacher plied some old-school disciplinary techniques, giving the whitetail a quick kick and shoving it into a mop closet, where it was held in detention until authorities arrived. The deer was released after police and school staff isolated that wing of the building with barriers, so it had a clear run to open exit doors. Wisconsin State Journal.
