Fraudulent signatures found on MT I-161 petitions
Fraudulent signatures were submitted in four Montana counties on petitions attempting to qualify Initiative 161 for the November ballot, a measure seeking to abolish outfitter-sponsored nonresident big game and deer combination licenses. The fake signatures, appearing in alphabetical order, were all submitted by the same paid signature gatherer. June 18 was the deadline for turning in signatures to county election officials. Via AP.
