Coast Guard rescues drunk on ‘pool floaty’ in Gulf
As if the U.S. Coast Guard doesn’t have enough to do in the Gulf. Crews rescued a “severely drunk man” found on pool floaty a mile out in the Gulf Wednesday after boaters spotted what they thought was debris in the water. “He was sitting on a small pool raft. Had no idea where he was, didn’t know what time of day it was, how long he was out for, or even how far of shore he was,” said USCG Petty Officer Brodie MacDonald. WTSP and the St. Pete Times.
