A new study suggests that certain mosquitoes are attracted to the smell of beer and prefer victims who’ve been drinking. Fortunately, drinking a lot of beer makes you care less about getting bitten by mosquitoes and encourages building really big campfires that help keep the pests away. This is less of a problem in the Mountain West where mosquitoes don’t pile up, and it’s much worse news for developing countries where malaria is a problem.
