Representatives for Native Alaskans are not pleased with changes in federal regulations that now require subsistence hunters to purchase a $15 federal duck stamp (like all others who hunt migrating waterfowl), arguing the new law is unfair. The new law, being phased-in over a 3-year period, will permit non-compliant hunters to be cited beginning in 2010. Via AP.
