Gators, birdies share New Orleans PGA spotlight

TPC Louisiana course officials removed a large alligator that was calling the 482-yard, par-4 fourth hole its home prior to this weekend’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans PGA event, though a second reptile remained elusive and aggressive after spectators along the 17th fed him throughout the second round. A trapper was called to snag the 3-legged 10-footer, nicknamed Tripod, but was unsuccessful. The Times-Picayune.
