Some holiday shoppers were startled when they encountered a creepy creature just outside the entrance of the Hilton Head, SC Walmart Sunday night–and, no, it wasn’t ringing a bell for The Salvation Army. Sheriff’s deputies kept gawkers at bay while the 7-foot alligator was subdued and removed from the area by a nuisance animal technician.In The Island Packet.
