Grizzly Bear Attacks Plane

A Grizzly bear attacked a plane while parked in a remote area in Alaska. As you can see by the photo the planes fabric covering and some tires were destroyed. The pilot had 2 new tires, 3 cases of Duct Tape and several rolls of cellophane delivered by another aircraft.
The pilot went about repairing the plane so he could fly it home and have it properly repaired. He literally used the tape (see second photo) to cover the holes and took off. Even after the attack he still has his rifle mounted on the outside of the plane.
Two lessons here, keep your gun with you and a fabric covered plane will not stop a bear, or probably any other animal with teeth. It is good to know so if my buddy Scott ever tires to leave me in a remote area I can just run up and slice through the side with my knife or chew through it, either one would work.
