Senators question proposed NPS lead ammo ban

A letter to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar signed by 13 U.S. Senators questions the recent actions of the National Park Service toward a prohibition of traditional lead ammo in parks that allow hunting. “In these difficult economic times, this action will discourage people from hunting and fishing and decrease revenue into the Pittman-Robertson fund that funds state conservation efforts,” read the letter.
