With the recent exposure deaths, and injuries  of children and adults  in the outdoors.  This new video will help parents prepare their kids, and themselves  for  adventures. It will help anyone  who is exposed to the elements for any period of time by preparing you to face it.  To keep it free and post it to you tube we had to keep it to 10 minuets. We feel the content is great and will save lives and child and adult injury.

Good Video, this is not just for kids, adults need it more than kids do in my opinion

Wanted to make to suggestions of things to add to a child’s survival Kit, for that matter in adult survival Kit.

    1) first being a Starflash Survival Signal Mirror, there are two things I see particularly special about this brand of Signal Mirror, one being the Star shaped aiming hole. makes it very easy for a person or child with limited signaling skills to accurately aim at airplanes, boats or persons seen in the distance.
The second thing is the fact that clear instructions for use are printed on the back of the Signal Mirror under the hard polycarbonate coding so they will not wear off. I also believe that having instructions on the mere is useful because under stress lots of people including children and young adults can forget what they may have learned earlier.

    2) I always put a blaze orange or safety orange bandanna or piece of cloth in my survival kits, blaze orange is not a naturally Occurring color. and therefore will be picked up Quickly by the eye at a greater distance, even if there is only a little piece of the flag showing. I noticed in the video the kids used a white signal flag. At least I believe that was the color. Here in desert and wilderness areas around Yuma there is a lot of trash white shopping bags and other plastic that gets caught in the trees cactuses and brush. So I prefer providing a abnormally bright colored flag that cannot be mistaken easily for trash.
